#7 Monday Note: Dada Quality and the Purposelessness of Almost All LinkedIn Content.
Most of the content on LinkedIn is purposeless. I want to argue that most content on LinkedIn is purposeless because so much of it is similar: people selling stuff, people touting achievements. Yes, it’s all great, but globally, we’re generating a wax cabinet version of what is interesting, real, and true.
I think we should be much more honest about what’s going on. Not everything is great; not everything went well. And these failures, these setbacks, are where we learn the most. Fail fast, learn quicker.
Quite nice to notice how AI translates Finnish to English. Very terse. I like it, but might seem rude for most of the readers. I do not mean to be rude. I just want to point out that in the age of AI we, humans, should be the truest versions of ourselves. We fail, we learn, we have good time, we are sad.
